Transparency & Trust
Compliance & Privacy
We believe in being completely transparent about how we operate, what we are regulated for, how we protect your data, and what to do if something goes wrong.
Important: Important: Karken Healthcare Ltd provides non-clinical, non-CQC regulated support services only. We do not provide personal care, medication administration, wound care, or nursing care. In a medical, mental health, or safeguarding emergency, always call 999 or attend your nearest A&E.
CQC Registration Status
We are not CQC registered — and we do not need to be.
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulates providers of personal care and healthcare services in England. Karken Healthcare Ltd provides non-clinical, non-personal care support services only. Our services do not fall within the regulated activities defined by the Health and Social Care Act 2008.
What this means for you
Our services are not inspected or rated by the CQC. This is not a gap in our quality — it reflects the nature of what we do. We are transparent about this distinction and encourage clients and families to ask questions if they are unsure whether our services are appropriate for their needs.
What we do not provide
We do not provide: personal care (washing, dressing, toileting), medication administration, wound care, nursing care, clinical assessments, or any activity that requires CQC registration. If you need these services, we will help signpost you to an appropriate regulated provider.
